I collect statues. To be more accurate, I collect statues of sexy women, although my conception of sexy may not meet the general acceptance criteria. The representation of strength, distress and beauty is what i look for when picking items for my collection. There are some great sculptors out there, people capable of creating with their hands a close image of what we conceive in our imaginations.
Let me share with you one of my newest acquisitions. This is Kier, produced by Sideshow. Contemplate the rage, the power of this fallen angel as she holds the severed head of her defeated enemy.
This beautiful sculpture is made of polyresin. The head and arms are removable, and so is the magnetized mask. Observe the detail in her expression, the outline of her muscles, the defined phalanges of her feet, her voluptuous and toned body… A real masterpiece.
